NBA - Heat will end 15-game losing streak today vs. Pacers

By Ozzie | January 26, 2008

One of the most disappointing stories in the association this season has been the Miami Heat. They currently are on a 15-game losing skid and can probably count themselves out of the playoffs this season.  They host the Indiana Pacers today, a team that they have lost to by three points in both of their meetings this season. The Heat again will be without center Shaquille O’Neal, who has missed nine of the last 13 games and is expected to miss at least another 10 days while nursing hip and leg injuries.  The Pacers center, Jermaine O’Neal, is also nursing injuries and will not suit up for today’s game.  I expect Dwayne Wade to carry the load today and finally end the misery.  Take the Heat +1 …in a “streak-breaker special”
