NCAA Basketball - East and West coast action vs. the spread
By Ozzie | February 18, 2008
Two of the hottest teams in the Big East conference square-off tonight, when the Syracuse Orangemen head to Louisville to play the Cardinals. The Orangemen are coming off a great performance at home against Georgetown on Saturday, and are looking to go on a run to impress the NCAA tournament selection committee in March. The Cardinals have been playing consistent, since the return of their senior center David Padgett. He has been the catalyst to their offense, as most sets run through him. I expect Syracuse’s wing players to let it fly from beyond the 3-point line and turn this contest into a shootout. Prediction: Louisville 81 Syracuse 74
Here are some other plays for Monday evening:
Georgetown -6.5
Rhode Island - Pick’em
Wofford -3
Saint Mary’s -14
Gonzaga -7
Loyola(Md) -2
Texas A&M +5
San Francisco -4
