NCAA Basketball - Tennessee will try and defend their first #1 rank vs. Vanderbilt
By Ozzie | February 26, 2008
The Tennessee Volunteers(25-2) were awarded the top spot on the AP and coaches polls on Monday, after winning a close one in Memphis on Saturday. The Memphis Tigers(26-1) lost their first game of the year and dropped to #3 in the polls. The road doesn’t get any easier for the newly crowned #1 Volunteers, as the head into Tuesday night’s match-up with the Vanderbilt Commodores(23-4). I expect this game to be the high scoring contest we didn’t see in Memphis on Saturday. I can’t see Chris Lofton being cold for two straight games, so expect to see both teams raining three-point shots. I recommend a 5- unit play on the total score for tonight’s game (OVER 160). Here are some more hoops plays for Tuesday:
NCAA:
Southern Illinois +1
Northwestern +9
UNLV -7
Drake -2
Indiana -8
NBA:
Suns -9
Cavaliers -2
Trailblazers +16
Heat +2
Jazz -7

The Suns line went all the way to 11.5, still have to like Phoenix vs Memphis, playing without Miller…Although Brian “the janitor” Cardinal could always be an x-factor….
