NBA Eastern Conference Finals - Pistons vs. Celtics
By Ozzie | May 20, 2008
The Detroit Pistons head into Boston tonight( 5:35pm ESPN) to face the Celtics, the team with the best regular season record this year. The series should be closely contested, and I expect it to go seven games. These two teams display a lot of half-court sets in their offense, so expect scoring in the low 80’s. I think Detroit wins the series in seven games, mostly because of their roster depth and playoff experience. Chauncey Billups and Richard Hamilton will use Rajon Rondo and expose Sam Cassell and Ray Allen on the defensive end. I also think Tayshaun Prince will be the defensive catalyst all series and should do a good job on Paul Pierce. The Pistons will steal one on the road, but it won’t be Game #1…Take the Celtics -4.5
