NBA FINALS - Celtics vs. Lakers - Renewing an old rivalry
By Ozzie | June 4, 2008
The NBA Finals start tomorrow in Boston, where some of the association’s most talented players will be on display. Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett pose obvious match-up problems for both teams, but they are not the only ones who will have their way with opposing defenses. Paul Pierce, Lamar Odom, and Pau Gasol should also score at will and are expected to score in the 20’s. I think the Lakers have the advantage, with their team speed and very efficient offense. The Boston Celtics will win the first two games at home, then I expect the Lakers to win four in a row. Kobe Bryant will be named the series MVP and will cement his place in history as one of the greatest finishers of all time. The games should be high scoring early in the series, until Boston realizes they can’t run with the Lakeshow.
