Wednesday, May 7th, 2008Without the hometown officiating, Detroit’s game will falter. Their offense(or lack thereof) will hail in comparison to Orlando, who will revamp and regurgitate behind the electric hometown atmosphere, and their superior versatility will be exemplified as the finesse aspect of their game opens up scoring opportunities vs. Detroit’s stagnant style.
Big $$ on Orlando -4.5
Hornets, Spurs, and Jazz will advance tonight
Tuesday, April 29th, 2008After watching the Lakers closeout their series with the Nuggets, I expect all these Western Conference playoff frontrunners to have a sense of urgency tonight. All three teams are up 3-1 in their “best of seven” series and have dominated their respective mathups. Here are my picks:
Hornets -7
Spurs -5
Jazz +1

NCAA Basketball - Tennessee will try and defend their first #1 rank vs. Vanderbilt
Tuesday, February 26th, 2008The Tennessee Volunteers(25-2) were awarded the top spot on the AP and coaches polls on Monday, after winning a close one in Memphis on Saturday. The Memphis Tigers(26-1) lost their first game of the year and dropped to #3 in the polls. The road doesn’t get any easier for the newly crowned #1 Volunteers, as the head into Tuesday night’s […]
NBA Kobe and Shaq meet up in Phoenix tonight
Wednesday, February 20th, 2008Shaquille O’Neal will make his Phoenix Sun debut tonight and is expected to get the starting nod at the center position versus his former team; the Los Angeles Lakers. It should be a very closely contested game, with both teams trying to implement their new free-agent acquisitions and establish themselves as a top seed in the Western […]
Midweek Hoops Parlaying
Wednesday, February 13th, 2008There are plenty of great hoops match-ups tonight, including another great ACC rivalry game between the Maryland Terrapins and Duke Blue Devils. The Terrapins should keep it close, if they use their big men to their advantage( Osby & Gist) and not let the Blue Devils shoot the lights out from beyond the arc. I’ll […]
NBA - Heat will end 15-game losing streak today vs. Pacers
Saturday, January 26th, 2008One of the most disappointing stories in the association this season has been the Miami Heat. They currently are on a 15-game losing skid and can probably count themselves out of the playoffs this season. They host the Indiana Pacers today, a team that they have lost to by three points in both of their meetings this season. The Heat […]
NBA Celtics @ Lakers ; Renewing an old rivalry
Sunday, December 30th, 2007Two of the association’s hottest teams will face off Sunday night, as the Boston Celtics(25-3) take their 5-game winning streak into the Staples Center to face the Los Angeles Lakers(19-10). The Lakeshow, has a four game winning streak of their own and have gotten great contributions from their young bench players. The Celtics have had […]
